Alien Conquest: A Science Fiction Romance (Celestial Mates) Page 8

  I nodded.

  “Say it, Beth.”

“I love you, Odin. I love you.”

I exploded into a thousand pieces, and he kissed me deeply, covering my mouth with his hand so I wouldn’t wake the twins. A few seconds later, he groaned and filled me.

“Shit, that was good.” I tried to climb down so we could start cleaning up.

“No way.” He lifted me, but stayed inside, carrying me to the bedroom. He put me down on my back with my legs up against the wall. “We need to keep those little swimmers in there. All of them. How else are we going to have another baby?”

“What do you mean?” I stared up at him innocently.

“I went off the birth control. I’m a fertile man again, and we’ll soon see if you’re a fertile woman.”

“I might not be,” I said, a little sad. “The twins took a long time to get started.”

“Then we’ll just have to work hard for it.” He had a seductive glint in his eyes. “I know how much you want a big family.”

“Will we?” I started becoming aroused again.

“As much as I love our children, Beth,” he said, coming and lying down beside me, “I have to admit that trying for the baby is the most enjoyable part of the process for me.”

  “Me too.”

“We can try all night unless you have something else planned.”

I smiled as he came in for another kiss. “I can’t wait.”

They’ll challenge what it means to be human and test the limits of love.

Amanda is a scientist for the military’s cyborg program. Programming and repairing once-human soldiers is a lot easier than trying to date, so she buries herself in her work. She’ll never admit that the cyborgs often seem like more than machines to her - especially the handsome AD-214.

Even though Cyborg Sector has erased his memories and turned him into a killing machine, AD-214 is aware of Amanda and her kind, gentle nature. When he starts to remember his former life, his system malfunctions, and only Amanda can save him. Then things go horribly wrong, and his squad of cyborgs - along with Amanda - become fugitives hunted by the military.

As the rogue cyborgs’ memories come flooding back, their human personalities begin to re-emerge. Amanda's bond with AD-214 intensifies and she discovers that none of the cyborgs is merely a robot.

After she’s captured by the military, AD-214 and his squad risk everything to rescue her. He and Amanda must fight not only for their survival, but the chance to prove that love is possible, even for a machine.
